NOTICE OF CEMETERY CLEAN-UP
The Village of New Athens will perform the 2023 spring clean-up of Oakridge Cemetery & The New Athens City Cemetery during the week of March 27th, 2023. Anyone wishing to save any flower or grave decorations should do so prior to the above date. Village personnel will remove all Christmas decorations as well as any old or faded decorations of any kind.
Residents are reminded that during the mowing season all decorations are limited to one per grave space. Any decoration beyond the limit will be removed immediately. Glass containers are also prohibited at any time.
