Town Hall Meeting February 2nd, 2023
I am having a Town Hall Meeting for the purpose of informing the attendees of various governmental projects and issues. Ed Cockrell, County Board District 20 Representative, Township Supervisor, and chairman of the board of the Kaskaskia Water District will be discussing activities involving his positions. Katie Main, Representative of Congressman Mike Bost, 12th Congressional District will be discussing governmental activities in the 12th district. Also, Kevin Schmidt, 114th District State Representative has also been invited. He may not be able to attend because the 103rd General Assembly is in session the same day as the meeting. Finally, I will discuss municipal infrastructure projects and issues. There will also be a question-and-answer session Village Trustees have been invited to attend and participate.
The meeting will be on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023 at the New Athens Community Hall, 406 Chester Street, New Athens at 6:30 PM. I am looking forward to this opportunity to communicate with and bring information directly to our citizens.
